With the aim of commemorating Mowlana Jalaluddin Muhammad Balkhi (Rumi) and expanding scientific and cultural interactions with the related centers of Turkey, Soroosh-e Mowlana Institute for Arts and Culture had a twenty-day journey to this country in December 2013. During this journey, Soroosh-e Mowlana institute held five meetings and one conference. Dr. Hamidreza Tawakli, Dr. Iraj Shahbazi, and the religious music and dance group of Etihad Jam and a number of Iranian Rumi researchers and fans accompanied the institute on this event. Furthermore, the opportunity to discuss and consult with some scientific and cultural institutions in Turkey, including the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Embassy and Cultural Consultation in Ankara, Ankara University, Kirikkale University, Ankara Rumi Foundation, Turkish Writers Association and Rumi International Foundation was provided.
