Soroosh-e Mowlana Institute for Arts and Culture is a non-governmental, non-profit organization, based in Tehran, Iran which initiated its activities since winter 2010 focusing on Rumi’s mystical and moral teachings. Our main concern is to promote the culture of peace and friendship and practical application of moral and mystical teachings based on the moral, mystical teachings of Rumi and other great men of literature and culture. Adopting a dogma-free approach, we try to highlight what is compatible with the intellect and morality of today’s mankind and can solve the problems of our time, then make it available to as many people as possible. We make efforts to discover answers from the said literary figures to the questions of modern life to help solve human crises.
In addition to our activities for promotion of culture, we are a publisher of books on Rumi. Also, in 2020 we released the first issue of “Negah-e Aftab”, our quarterly journal.
Soroosh-e Mowlana works with intellectuals, professors and important characters offering lecture series, seminars, workshops, book/film reviews and live broadcasts on Instagram about Rumi, ethics, Mysticism, the meaning of life, the wisdom of life and spirituality, all adapted to modern life.
